In the end of Dwapar Yuga, lakhs of demons took birth on this earth by disguising themselves as kings. Kansa, Putana, Chanur, Kalayavan, Jarasandha, Trinavarta, Kagasura, Aghasur, Pralambasura, Narakasura, Shaktasur, Vatsasura, Bakasura, Arishtasur, Dhenukasur, Kaliya, Vyomasur, Kaivalyapid, Banasura, Paudrak, Shishupala and Dantavakra were a few powerful and cruel demons to name. These demons in the form of kings started committing many atrocities on the human beings of earth.
Mother Earth had become very sad due to the atrocities and sins of these demons and she was suffering a lot on seeing such evil creatures roaming on her. In order to get rid of her sufferings and of the humans’ sufferings, Mother Earth took the form of a cow and went to the shelter of Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe, for help. While going to Brahma ji, tears were flowing from her eyes and were flowing on her face. The body of Mother Earth in the form of a cow had become very thin and weak. Seeing Goddess Prithvi going to Brahmaloka with tears in her eyes , many gods of heaven also went with her.
After reaching the abode of lord Brahma ji, the goddess earth bowed to him. Seeing Mother Earth coming in the form of a cow, Brahma ji asked her the reason for coming there. Then Goddess Prithvi narrated all her sufferings in front of Brahma ji that how lakhs of Asuras are ruling the earth in the guise of kings and doing many injustice to the people. Brahma ji carefully listened to all the sorrows of Goddess Earth, after that he went to Kailash, the abode of Lord Shankar, taking all the gods and mother earth with him. Taking Lord Shankar along with him Lord Brahma and all the deities went along with Mother Earth to Kshir Sagar, the ocean of milk, where the Supreme Lord, Lord Narayan always resides.
Lord is the adored deity of the deities, He is also adored and revered by Brahma and Shankar. The Lord fulfills all the wishes of His devotees and always protects them. Brahma and all the deities started praising the Lord with the Purusha Sukta. While praising Brahma ji was engrossed in samadhi (trance state) and he heard the voice of lord in his trance state. After this Brahma ji told the deities, Lord of the Lords Narayana already knows about the miseries of the goddess earth . The Lord is omnipotent, He Himself will incarnate on the earth to end the miseries of the earth. His dearest beloved Goddess Radha will also incarnate with him. In this incarnation of Himself, the Lord will perform many leelas for His devotees and will also put an end to those demons who are a burden to goddess earth.
Lord Brahma says that Lord Krishna will take birth on earth in Yadukul. That is why for his service and his cooperation in many leelas, you should take birth in Yadukul. In order to serve the beloved of God, Shri Radha Rani, wives of many deities should also be born in Gokul. Lord will take birth in Yadukul as the child of Vasudeva and Devaki. Sage Kashyap and his wife Aditi would take birth as Vasudeva and Devaki. Lord’s dearest Shri Radha ji will take birth in the house of Vrishabhanu ji in Barsane. Lord Anant, who is called Sheshnag and who took birth as his younger brother Lakshmana at the time of Rama incarnation of lord , will take birth in this incarnation as his elder brother Balarama. He will be born to Vasudeva and his other wife Rohini. The Lord’s opulent Yogamaya, by whom this entire universe is enchanted, will also take birth in the house of Nanda and Yashoda in Gokul by the order of the Lord and will be called the sister of the Lord.
The deities like Indra, Vayu, Dharmaraja, Ashwini Kumar and Surya should all take birth on earth . Through your incarnations, the Lord will kill many demons and through them he will also reveal the knowledge hidden in the Vedas and Upanishads to the world. That is why without delaying you guys, take birth on earth as soon as possible and get busy in your own work. Brahma ji gave such an order to the deities and explained and consoled the goddess Prithvi, who was very sad about the misdeeds of the demons, that God himself would take an incarnation and redress your troubles and told all the deities and goddess earth to go back to their places. Saying this, Brahma ji himself went to his own world, Shankar and all the other gods also went to their respective worlds and started their work to give their support in the incarnation of Lord Kirshna.
